Emerging from Communism, originally uploaded by roobarb!.

A set of bronze sculptures by Olbram Zoubek was built in 2002. It was (to my surprise) subject to much controversy. Mr Zoubek said about it "I wanted to commemorate 248 executed, 327 shot and four and half thousand tortured to death in prisons." I still fail to understand how can some 10% Czech still vote for communists, but that's for different blog...
